Some of the ancient scriptures devoted to Indian Classical music have extremely sensuous and sensitive descriptions of many of the ragas. Raga Poems is a collection of poems that take up these descriptions of some of the well known ragas and relates them with contemporary predicaments of love, longing, void and loss.

INVERTED COMMAS

Inverted Commas is a novel that attempts to explore the feminine mystique. Is Ananya one woman or is she three different women without any trace of schizophrenia? Vacillating between her own avant-garde influences and kitschy experimentations, with four other characters in the run --- a filmmaker, a dancer, a painter and a writer, she sweeps across experiences, mindsets and attitudes into an ungraspable phantom of everyday life that haunts and troubles her.
